| Questions to answer: How many languages do you speak? By that, I'm talking 'well enough to attend school in the country/countries that speak it', not 'I know a few sentences'.
Do you know parts of any other languages?
How many languages do you understand, but can't speak?
I speak Norwegian as my first language. My dad is Danish, so I can speak Danish too, but not well. I only speak it when I'm forced to. I obviously speak English, otherwise I wouldn't be able to write these messages.
I know some French (on my fourth year now (doing it in school)) and very little German (I can maybe order food, but that's it).
I understand Swedish, I guess.

| Yay, an own thread dedicated to languages! Well, where to start... Obviously, I speak Norwegian and English. I've taken Spanish the last 3 years (on my fourth now), and guess I could survive in (at least) Spain. I've finally started learning Japanese seriously (afternoon-class), and want to learn Italian (wich I somewhat understand, but not near good enough), Latin, Russian and Irish. I'm thinking of taking Latin or Russian next year, but I doubt that plan will come alive.. Well, what would I do without free online-classes? And I understand some Swedish and Dannish, well, some of it.. I want to learn as many languages as possible, I just love languages! But not french | |

| I said Icould survive there.. For me it's enough with my granny trying to speak Spanish with me every time I visit her. Kinda awkward.. Heidi is so much better than me.. Preferio (uhm, that's so wrong written..) inglesia y japunes, pero, mi japunes es mal.. Habla espaņol de Chile, si? Es muy diferente de espaņol de Espaņa, si? Oh, this is so not my Spanish day.. | |

| Wow! I feel out-numbered here. I know one language (can you guess what it is?!) I can understand some Spanish, but I DO NOT speak it. I just know a few words, maybe a sentence or two. Also, I think it's amazing that you guys can speak different languages. I have always wanted to learn other languages, but it isn't offered at my school...and, well, I'm too lazy and intimidated to approach it on my own. So, yeah. Also, I love the layout! Abby | |
